Platform Disco
Lately, I’ve been feeling the 70’s trends slowly creeping back into mainstream fashion, so I’ve definitely been keeping my eyes on retro inspired footwear. Of course the most popular style of chunky heeled platforms were at the top of my list of eventual must haves! Nine West is one of my favorite shoe companies, you can always find at least one or two pairs of heart stopping styles in larger sizes, and for us that’s winning! I was really surprised with these snakeskin patterned platforms, available in two color options and up to size 12. It’s so rare that companies with larger options are on the cusp of a new fashion waves, so of course I had to take advantage. These platforms definitely brought excitement and so much hope for the future of larger women’s sizes! Staying true to the 70’s vibe aligned with summer sixteen color trends, I decided to pair these chunky platforms with my favorite burnt orange caged romper and nude patent clutch. Who knew I’d be this into the retro classics of the 70’s, so excuse me in advance if I go a little overboard this summer! I’m here to not only help with finding the best footwear options for us larger feet ladies, but also aid with staying ahead of trends while doing so.
