It was All a Dream: My First NYFW

To say it has been a while since I’ve posted on this blog would be an understatement. It’s been over a year since I’ve come on here to share the latest of what’s happening in my life along with the looks I’ve enjoyed wearing. Life has been life-ing of course and per usual I’m here for the ride. There’s been plenty of ups and downs but one thing is for sure, The Lord always shines a light even in the darkest of valleys. A lot has been happening in my life. So much so, I’ve never felt so unsettled. Since moving out of my apartment in August, I’ve been feeling like such a wanderer. No longer anchored or tied down to anything secure, floating through life waiting to grab hold onto an opportunity to come out of seemingly no where.

During this period of transition, NYC has been heavy on my mind. While I had no plan, I was convinced to follow the desires of my heart and book my trip.

With Fashion Week approaching , the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. After the back to back shows, after parties and trips around the city, I had an action packed trip that becomes more of a blur as each day passes.

I couldn’t wait to share a few memories I managed to capture along the way!

A year ago, I wouldn’t have dreamed I’d be attending NYFW. Not because I didn’t want to, I was thinking small when I needed to be thinking big. Anything is possible. Now that I’m back, I feel more energized and focused on what I want to pursue in my life.
