Heather Mooney
“Twice the taste in half the time for the girl on the go. I invented the quick-burning paper.”
Heather Mooney was the underrated star of Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion, the best “It girl” movie of the 90’s. She was a no nonsense, independent, lover at heart who wanted to make life easier for the modern woman. Her need for a solution to the problems faced by girls on the go is equivalent to my need for versatile footwear that I can slip on from casual to chic and last entirely throughout my hectic day.
Mules are that shoe. I can slip them on literally on my way out of the door with jeans, shorts, skirts… Anything. It takes that casual look to chic really quick, and perfect for those comfy/modern moments. This particular pair is a size 13 from Calvin Klein and they are super comfortable. The pop of metal on the heel compliments the simple design, which is what sold me. I know these may not be your first choice in a particular style but, don’t be afraid to try something new. Experiment with your style, if you’re not having fun than, its not fashion.
