Not So Mellow Yellow

As many of us know, finding shoes for women with larger shoe sizes is truly a pain. There are moments I find multiple pairs of shoes in my size that are so bomb yet my bank account balance is looking back at me like, "Yeah right girl, try again next month." Then there are moments I can't find any shoes to save my life! Its like I have all of these outfits in my head with the same old shoes in rotation. It’s a frustrating feeling that has been with me since my love of shoes was ignited. I love all types of footwear and I love blogging but, when those two major issues of no shoes and no money...

Color Blocked

I  remember the first time I discovered color blocking which believe it or not I actually have to give our favorite celebrity Kim Kardashian credit for introducing my eyes to this color play. You may be thinking even back then I was super late and that Kim K. was definitely not the first to do it but, this is my story! *inserts laughing emoji* When I saw how colors were mixed and matched like deep purples and tangerines, I absolutely fell in love and was low key obsessed. Vinyl Perspective

Don't give into fear and self doubt. Instead of them working against you, force them to work for you. Recently I volunteered for a project I've never done in my life. I've been trained to do all these things during school and interning but never have I ever taken on a solo project. Imagine my nerves once it actually set in! Like, who am I to ever sign up for such a task? So many fears and self doubts came to play. Not only did they wreak havoc on my mind but also on my body. I am fighting a severe cold as I type due to a week of stress and lack of sleep. I began to become agitated, frustrated...

Plaid & Shoulders

New York fashion week has the entire fashion world on the edge of their seats. Each show leaves us wanting more, in suspense of what we're going to see next. From street style to the catwalks, I'm really not sure which is more anticipated! This year street style has been off the hook! I love that the street scene is a no holds barred event, where everyone from stylist, editors, models, bloggers and even celebs get to have fun and show off their personal unconventional style. It's like getting to wear every insanely fashionable piece you can imagine pulling from your closet and giving it a go. I don't know about you but I wouldn't mind playing stress up x10 for...

20 Something

Being a 20 something year old in 2017 is rough in so many aspects, especially in regards to finances.  According to Wells Fargo, a record breaking number of millennials are living with their parents, which in large part is due to debt and a job market that hasn’t returned to its pre-recession glory. If you’re “boujee on a budget”, like my good friend Victoria likes to call it, then you know how physically painful it is to see the most amazing items online and in your favorite clothing stores that are way out of your price range. I love fashion trends. I love the art of mixing and matching the latest styles, making them my own with a twist. I also love...
