Not So Mellow Yellow

As many of us know, finding shoes for women with larger shoe sizes is truly a pain. There are moments I find multiple pairs of shoes in my size that are so bomb yet my bank account balance is looking back at me like, "Yeah right girl, try again next month." Then there are moments I can't find any shoes to save my life! Its like I have all of these outfits in my head with the same old shoes in rotation. It’s a frustrating feeling that has been with me since my love of shoes was ignited. I love all types of footwear and I love blogging but, when those two major issues of no shoes and no money...

Color Blocked

I  remember the first time I discovered color blocking which believe it or not I actually have to give our favorite celebrity Kim Kardashian credit for introducing my eyes to this color play. You may be thinking even back then I was super late and that Kim K. was definitely not the first to do it but, this is my story! *inserts laughing emoji* When I saw how colors were mixed and matched like deep purples and tangerines, I absolutely fell in love and was low key obsessed. Grown Woman

As I get older, I have noticed a certain element of transformation taking place from the inside out. On the inside, I have struggled with deep rooted habits that have done nothing but caused emotional, mental and physical havoc. Most of us don’t even notice our faults and need assistance from others to guide us on how to be the best person we can be. But, what if we don’t have that special someone in our lives willing to tell us the truth out of pure love? The only other person we have to depend on is ourselves. We are the driving force of becoming the person we want to be and going where we’ve always dreamed. When we love...

20 Something

Being a 20 something year old in 2017 is rough in so many aspects, especially in regards to finances.  According to Wells Fargo, a record breaking number of millennials are living with their parents, which in large part is due to debt and a job market that hasn’t returned to its pre-recession glory. If you’re “boujee on a budget”, like my good friend Victoria likes to call it, then you know how physically painful it is to see the most amazing items online and in your favorite clothing stores that are way out of your price range. I love fashion trends. I love the art of mixing and matching the latest styles, making them my own with a twist. I also love...

Baby Blue’s

To say these last few weeks have been stressful would be the least of my emotions. Worry is a silent killer, so silent, I didn't even realize how much it was wreaking havoc on my body, physically and emotionally. I've been worrying so much about my finances, career, and love life unknowingly worrying myself sick. Everyday is a battle but it is a process of realizing there is absolutely nothing we should be focused on more than the present. I'm realizing that I can't stress and worry about what's to come anymore because it's not productive and I rather spend my time on way more important things like enjoying life and focusing on my grind while being grateful of what I...
