New York fashion week has the entire fashion world on the edge of their seats. Each show leaves us wanting more, in suspense of what we’re going to see next. From street style to the catwalks, I’m really not sure which is more anticipated!
This year street style has been off the hook! I love that the street scene is a no holds barred event, where everyone from stylist, editors, models, bloggers and even celebs get to have fun and show off their personal unconventional style. It’s like getting to wear every insanely fashionable piece you can imagine pulling from your closet and giving it a go. I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t mind playing stress up x10 for a few days.
Anyway, for those of us watching the event from our laptops and cellphones fortunately we can take some major inspiration into our daily wardrobe. The runways are full of next years trends, but street style is definitely what to watch! Instead of being bitter I got inspired. Fall 2017 is all about 70’s plaid, satin, silhouettes and all of your 90’s favorites.
Along with clothing trends, footwear is what I look out for the most! These Jessica Simpson satin pumps were to die for (emphasis on “were”) when I first laid eyes on them. The satin combined with the chic silhouette of the heel, was everything I needed in a non-basic, basic sandal. Unfortunately the love didn’t last long as they broke within the first five minutes of wearing them. Never the less, the show went on and I returned them as soon as I had the chance!
My overall opinion, buyer beware!
